The patented* Adjustable Inducer revolutionizes the approach to trim removal systems conveying a continuous stream of material. Adjusted once to maximize the performance of the blower, the Adjustable Inducer reduces energy costs by allowing one blower to operate more than one trim conveying line.
The inducer is a proven method of conveying material. Also known as a venturi, its cylindrical shaped interior accepts a specific volume of airflow from a pressure blower and transforms the airflow to an induced flow, imparting energy and carrying the material through the system.
Why use an Adjustable Inducer? The best performance of fans in terms of horsepower vs. cubic feet per minute of airflow for a system is provided by standardized charts. Due to the design limitations of standard fan wheel capacities and horsepower, engineers must size systems with higher horsepower than is actually needed.
 Tests of the adjustable inducer verify obtaining improved air volume on less horsepower than fixed inducer design. Adjustable nozzles permit maximizing the operating point on the fan curve to allow the use of smaller horsepower pressure blowers while maintaining the same production level. They also enable production flows to increase at the same horsepower.
