| System Components > Separators
Air Separators and Cyclones are sized, custom designed, and fabricated for each specific application. The form or shape of the unit depends upon the type and volume of material being conveyed, available space, and the air velocity at which it is being conveyed. Their function is similar in that pneumatically conveyed material and air enter these units for the sole purpose of being separated, the material drops down into a receiver while the conveying air vents out of the system.
System Components > Sound Abatement
Sound levels must be maintained at safe levels to avoid employee hearing losses. Pneumatic conveying systems use fans and/or blowers to generate the air for the systems to operate, creating noise. In addition, systems using choppers or cutters contribute to sound pollution. The dBA or sound level of these components is considered when designing systems and you are given the option of adding sound abatement to the system.
System Components > Inducers/Venturi
The patented* Adjustable Inducer revolutionizes the approach to trim removal systems conveying a continuous stream of material. Adjusted once to maximize the performance of the blower, the Adjustable Inducer reduces energy costs by allowing one blower to operate more than one trim conveying line.
System Components > Intakes
Intakes are the point of entry for the material into a pneumatic conveying system. As such, proper intake design affects conveying system performance. Unlike a vacuum cleaner accessory nozzle, conveying system intakes are not interchangeable for multiple applications. Designing and engineering each intake for its purpose results in a worry-free system.
System Components > Static Elimination
Static electricity is generated when an electrical imbalance on a material surface comes into contact with another material. A common result is static “cling” from the build up of electrical charge from the materials’ interaction. Paper, film, plastic, and synthetic materials are prone to static electricity which may cause plugging in pneumatic conveying lines.
System Components>Auxiliary Equipment
Special duct pieces, like a transition or this perforated vent section are fabricated in house.
